About Striper
Striped bass, also known as striper are a highly sought after sport fish that have been introduced to fisheries across the United States. Striper have a dedicated following among Arkansas anglers, especially on Beaver Lake. Anyone who has hooked into one knows why! In addition to their large size, stripers are some of the hardest fighting fish in The Natural State.
On average, striper grow to 2 to 3 feet in length and weigh 8 to 15 pounds. Striper is a white meat with mild flavor and medium texture. This fish is extremely versatile to cook. Methods include fried, pan seared, grilled, or roasted.
